Porcelain Pictures Sample Images

All Images seen on this site are Copyright Ben Tasker. With the exception of the Porcelain Pictures logo, you may use the sample images on your own websites so long as you abide by the following caveats

  • The Copyright Watermark must remain intact
  • You must host the image on your own server, absolutely no Hotlinking permitted.
  • Images must be used as hyperlinks linking directly to the Porcelain Pictures Image Information page for that image

    Single Use License

    If you purchase a stock image under a Single Use license, you may use the image in one place. No further copies of that creation may be made. The single place can be a website, or any print medium subject to the caveats below

  • You may not print the image unless it is part of a larger work. If you require a print of just the image, please purchase one from either this site, or Photo4me.com.
  • If displaying the image electronically, reasonable steps should be taken to prevent users from downloading the image (except to view it) such as adding Javascript to disable right click
  • Where reasonably practicable, you must credit the image to Ben Tasker.
  • This license is non-transferable, you may not sell or pass it to any other party. Any attempt to do so will remove your right to use the image and you may be prevented from purchasing further licenses.
  • The image remains Copyright Ben Tasker, you have simply purchased a license to use it (once)

    Unlimited Licenses

    If you purchase a stock image under an Unlimited license, you may use the image as many times as you wish subject to the caveats below;

  • You may not print the image unless it is part of a larger work. If you require a print of just the image, please purchase one from either this site, or Photo4me.com.
  • If displaying the image electronically, reasonable steps should be taken to prevent users from downloading the image (except to view it) such as adding Javascript to disable right click
  • Where reasonably practicable, you must credit the image to Ben Tasker.
  • This license is non-transferable, you may not sell or pass it to any other party. Any attempt to do so will remove your right to use the image and you may be prevented from purchasing further licenses.
  • The image remains Copyright Ben Tasker, you have simply purchased a license to use it

    How to Buy

    If you find a picture that you like whilst searching through our Portfolio, click the Image or its Title to open the Image information page (click here for an example). On the left hand side there are a number of options. You can purchase a high resolution download of an image under either a Single or an Unlimited license.

    Alternatively you can order prints by selecting the print size and whether you want the image in Colour or Black and White.

    In either case you will be taken to PayPal to complete the transaction. Follow the instructions there to make the payment, when PayPal displays a confirmation page there will be a button labelled Return to Merchant. Click this to return to Porcelain Pictures.

    If you purchased a download you will then be presented with a link and instructions on how to instantly download your purchased photo. If you ordered prints, a confirmation of your order will be displayed.




    Photo Packs

    A photopack consists of;
  • Two 5 x 6 Inch prints
  • One 6 x 8 print
  • one 8 x 11 print


    • And you can mix and match images. At £30.00 that's a saving of 29%!

    If you wish to use multiple images in your Photopack, simply select Photopack from the Order Prints section of your first image. When Paypal presents you with an invoice, and asks you to confirm the payment there will be a link labelled Add additional note to seller click this to reveal a text box. Enter the Image Name or Image ID's for up to 3 other images in this box. If you want specific photos in specific sizes you must state which image should be which size. For example you could enter

    Family of Swans 5x6
    Needham View 5x6
    SV650 8x11
    Skating 6x8

    Please ensure that the address Paypal provides is correct as you will not be able to change this afterwards!




    Image Quality and Size

    The quality of the image you purchase is far higher than the sample photo's used on this site. Exact resolutions vary between images, but every image is of the highest possible quality.

    Prints will be printed at an absolute minimum of 300dpi on high quality photographic paper. The size of your print will of course depend on the size that you order however all prints will have a border of approximately 1 centimetre in order to allow for framing.

    Unlike the sample images on the site, neither prints or stock images will carry a Copyright watermark.




    Tracking an Order

    If you have ordered prints and wish to check their status, please Contact Me providing your Order reference and PayPal E-mail address. I will then e-mail you back with the status of your order. We hope to have an automated order tracking system online soon!




    Refunds

    As a customer, your happiness with our final product is of great concern to us. Due to their digital nature, we are unable to issue refunds for Stock Image downloads, however if you feel there is a problem with the image please contact us so that we can try to resolve it.

    If you are not happy with your prints then you can return them within 14 days of ordering so long as they are in the condition you received them in. It's strongly recommended that you send all items by recorded post as we cannot issue refunds for items 'lost in the post.'
    The address to send returns to will be on the invoice that arrives with your goods. Please Contact Us in the first instance if you have any problems with your order.




    Shipping

    Currently we only ship to the United Kingdom. However international shipping is coming very soon so please come back soon!

    All prints are sent using Royal Mails 1st Class Signed for Service. This typically takes between 1 and 3 days to arrive and someone will need to be home to sign for the package.

    As part of the launch, shipping is currently free to anywhere in the United Kingdom!




    Greetings Cards

    Our greetings card are a unique way to commemorate and occasion. You can order any image on the site as a greetings card. The location of the fold will depend on the image that you select, Landscape images will create a tent style card, whilst portrait images will have a side fold. As with all our other prints, you can order cards in Black and White or Colour.

    By default our Greetings cards contain no message inside, so are suitable for every occasion. If you would like a custom message to be printed, please specify this in PayPals 'Additional note to Seller' box on the invoice page. If you would like the card to be posted directly to the recipient, please also provide the name and address.

    1st Class Postage is free, and all our prints use the highest quality and inks to prevent fading and ensure that your happy memories last for years!




    Your Privacy

    Your Privacy is of great concern to us, for more information please read our Privacy Policy. To provide a quick summary, we believe your privacy and should be the most important concern for any web-based company. For that reason, we will not record any details about you unnecessarily (we do need to record a few if you make a purchase), we will never try to identify you or place cookies on your computer. We do not use technologies such as Google Analytics. We do however use Paypal as a Payment Processor, so you should read their Privacy Policy as well.




    What if there's an issue with my order

    It's important to us that you are happy with your order, if you have an issue please contact us in the first instance. We regret that due to their digital nature, we cannot give refunds for Image Downloads. However if you are experiencing issues downloading the image, we may me able to help you. If you decide you do not want your ordered print, please contact us for return details. We will issue a full refund so long as the image is received in it's original quality and packaging.

    We may require, and record some additional details to process a refund. This is an unfortunate necessity in order to help prevent infringement of our copyright.




    Using the Site

    Using the site is reasonably simple, to navigate around the site you use the navigation bar at the top of every page. The options available are

    When on either the Home, Random, All or Search Results pages, you can view further information on it by clicking on the image that interests you, or the title which is displayed just below. This will take you to the image information page for that image, which includes the option to order prints, purchase a download and in some cases a link to Photo4me.com for the purchase of Canvas Prints.
