Getting hit by wooden stake on the A14

I got suckered by a wooden stake. The red truck pulled over at the next layby, so I suspect he heard it hit the underside of his flatbed

Got reasonably lucky damage wise, you can clearly see where it hit

But the damage was limited to a slight crack at the top of where it hit

So, annoying, but could have been much worse, could easily have been a headlight unit gone...
