Take todays article entitled HSBC to 'review' online security what an absolutely fantastic piece of scaremongering!! You can break into an online account with a keylogger? No shit sherlock! OK so there are steps that HSBC can take to make it a little harder, but the main part of the article does suggest that only HSBC suffers from this problem. Any online portal can be defeated by a keylogger, as long as the person receiving information from the keylogger knows how to utilise it correctly. Keeping your Anti-virus up to date is a good idea, but don't think it truly protects you from online fraud, the only way to be safe from having your account cracked is simply not to have one.
