Below are lists of the domains I've had to manually block

As of June 2022, updates to the lists are managed in GILS - https://projects.bentasker.co.uk/gils_projects/project/jira-projects/ADBLK.html with the lists published via Github.

Lists

• ABP/Ublock format list
• Unbound Format List
• Domain List (Pihole etc)
• List of regexes for blocking
• List of zones only

PiHole

As well as the blocklists above, there are some additional tools/resources specifically intended for PiHole

• Configuring Pihole to update blocklists more regularly
• blockeddomains.txt - a domain blocklist to add in Settings -> Blocklists
• pihole_apply_regexes.sh - a script to feed regex blocks into Pihole to block entire zones etc

Grease Monkey Scripts

I try to avoid resorting to Grease Monkey scripts as far as possible, unfortunately some advertisers take extreme measures to try and bypass controls

Old Lists

My old lists were deprecated in 2022.

• Full Autolist (Unbound format) replaced
• Manually blocked zones / Unbound format replaced
• ABP/Ublock compatible list of blocked domains/zones replaced
• ABP/Ublock compatible list of blocked domains/zones without Social Media tracker domains deprecated
• Modified version of EasyList (ABP/Ublock compatible) deprecated
• Modified version of EasyList (ABP/Ublock compatible) without Social Media tracker domains deprecated
• ABP compatible list of Social Media tracker domains deprecated
• Pi-Hole compatible blocklist replaced
• Pi-Hole compatible blocklist with Social Media tracking domains deprecated
